A thorough review of the home environment conducted via video call — FaceTime, Zoom, or Google Meet. The client or a trusted person guides us through the home on camera while we observe, document risks, and provide real-time guidance. Just as thorough as an in-person assessment, without geographic limits.

Wellness Check-Ins
Regular virtual visits — by video or phone — that provide consistent wellness monitoring — tracking health, mood, cognition, and daily functioning, and flagging changes to family and the care team.

Connecting clients to community programs, transportation services, social resources, and support networks available in their area — locally and nationwide.

Care Coordination & Provider Support

Avelis provides non-medical support, coordination, and concierge services. For clients who need hands-on personal care, we can help coordinate and oversee appropriate in-home support from qualified providers — as part of a broader aging-in-place plan.
My parent insists they're fine. How do I start this conversation?
This is one of the most common challenges families bring to us. We're happy to talk through how to approach it — and in some cases, an Avelis consultation can serve as a neutral, professional third party that removes some of the family tension from the conversation.
