Clinical or Healthcare Background
We work best with people who understand how the healthcare system works — RNs, LPNs, social workers, care managers, medical assistants, and others with real clinical or coordination experience.
Exceptional Communication
With families, with providers, and with our team. Written and verbal. Clear, warm, and professional — especially when the situation is difficult or emotional.
Organizational Discipline

Care Coordinator
The core of what Avelis does. You'll manage ongoing client relationships, coordinate care across providers, conduct wellness check-ins, communicate with families, and be the consistent, trusted presence in clients' lives. This role requires both clinical grounding and exceptional interpersonal skill.
  • RN, LPN, social work degree, or equivalent healthcare background required
  • Experience in case management, care coordination, or home health preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Genuine commitment to person-centered, dignity-focused care

Wellness Advocate
Conduct scheduled wellness check-ins for Avelis clients — in-home and virtually — documenting observations, building relationships, and providing the consistent presence that families rely on. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals seeking meaningful part-time work with flexibility.
  • Healthcare background required (CNA, HHA, medical assistant, nursing student, or similar)
  • Strong observational and documentation skills
  • Warm, calm, and professional demeanor in client settings
  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Availability for morning and afternoon visit windows
